The pulsating beat of the music throbbed through the crowded bar as Y/N and her friends celebrated their graduation. Laughter and cheers filled the air, but Y/N felt a growing sense of unease as she watched her friends down shots and dance energetically.
“Come on, Y/N! Just one drink!” Minyun urged, her eyes sparkling with excitement.
Y/N hesitated, glancing at the bar. “I don’t know, Minyun. I don’t want to get too wild.”
“Just tonight! You deserve to have fun!” Minyun insisted, practically dragging her to the bar.
With a sigh, Y/N relented. After a few drinks, the world around her began to blur, and she felt more confident, joining in the laughter and the dancing. That’s when she noticed her cousin—Kim Taehyung, the notorious playboy of their high school. He strode into the bar, his presence commanding attention.
“Y/N!” Taehyung called, his voice smooth as silk. “Having fun?”
She felt her heart race. “Uh, yeah! Just celebrating!”
“How about I join you?” he said, flashing his charming smile.
Before she knew it, they were laughing and flirting, the alcohol loosening her inhibitions. As the night wore on, Taehyung leaned closer, his breath warm against her ear. “Let’s get out of here.”
Y/N felt a rush of excitement and anxiety. “Where to?”
“Just trust me,” he replied, with low voice
The bar is dimly lit, filled with the hum of drunken conversations and clinking glasses. Taehyung, dressed in his signature leather jacket and unbuttoned shirt, drags y/n by the waist, leading her towards the back room.
Taehyung turns to face y/n, his eyes sparkling with mischief and a hint of desire Hey there, little cousin. You’re pretty wasted, huh? He chuckles softly, pulling her closer to support her swaying form I think it’s time for a little… fun
Y/N looks at him with smiled in drunkenly “um what ?”
Taehyung watches y/n’s drunken smile, finding it strangely cute. “Do you know you’re like a different person when you’re drunk?” He mutters softly, then sees an opportunity. “You know what?” He smirked unbuttoning another button of his shirt “What?”
Y/N’s heart pounding slightly for excitement as she speak “But we are cousin so I don’t think its right..”
Taehyung grins wickedly, pushing y/n gently onto bed. Cousin? raises an eyebrow as he speak with raspy tone “By midnight, you’ll be calling me something entirely different… trust me.” softly whispers “Then we’ll see who’s remembering the family tree.” smirks playfully
Without warining Taehyung climbs onto bed as he, pressed his body against y/n’s. He begins to kiss and suck on y/n’s neck, marking her like a territorial animal. y/n moans softly under his touch, too drunk to protest or think clearly. Taehyung’s hands start to roam, unbuttoning y/n’s blouse slowly. He kisses her deeply, his tongue invading her mouth. He breaks the kiss to whisper huskily in her ear, “I’m gonna make you scream so hard you’ll be forget everything tomorrow, little cousin.”
As Taehyung starts claiming her as his, the night wraps up with scream and unforgettable touches, each whisper of desire echoing in the air. Their breaths intertwine, and the world outside fades away, leaving only the warmth of their bodies and the electric energy between them, creating a memory that will linger long after dawn breaks.
Next morning Y/N woke up in sore body with a pounding headache, the sunlight streaming in through the window. She squinted, trying to orient herself. She turned to her side, only to find the bed empty. Panic surged through her as the memories of the previous night came flooding back..
“Taehyung?” she called out, her voice hoarse. No answer.
She scrambled out of bed, her heart racing. As she looked around the unfamiliar room, a sinking feeling settled in her stomach. She quickly dressed and rushed out, hoping to find him.
As she stepped into the bar hallway while she noticed Minyun siting on counter so she ran into Minyun, who looked equally disheveled. “Y/N! Thank goodness you’re okay! I was worried, thats why i came here again to see you..”
“What happened last night?” Y/N asked, her voice trembling. “Where’s Taehyung?”
Minyun’s expression shifted to concern. “You don’t remember?”
“No! I remember us dancing and then… Taehyung. But everything after that is a blur!”
Minyun bit her lip, hesitating. “You two went into a room together. I thought… I thought you knew what you were doing.”
Y/N felt a wave of nausea. “Oh no… What did I do?”
Minyun placed a comforting hand on her shoulder. “You just need to talk to him. Find out what happened.”
Y/N nodded, feeling a mix of dread and anxiety. She grabbed her phone and dialed Taehyung’s number, her heart racing. The line rang, but it went to voicemail.
“Hey, it’s Y/N. Can you call me back? We need to talk,” she said, trying to keep her voice steady.
After a few moments of silence, Minyun suggested they head to the coffee shop nearby to gather their thoughts. As they walked, Y/N’s mind raced with possibilities, her heart heavy with regret.
When they arrived, Y/N ordered a coffee, desperately needing the caffeine to clear her foggy mind. They sat at a small table, and Y/N fidgeted with her cup, anxiety gnawing at her.
“Maybe he just left early,” Minyun suggested, trying to reassure her.
“Or maybe he’s avoiding me,” Y/N replied, her voice barely above a whisper.
Just then, her phone buzzed. It was a text from Taehyung: *Can we talk?*
Y/N felt a rush of emotions. *What does he want to say?*
They arranged to meet at a nearby park, and as Y/N approached, she spotted Taehyung sitting on a bench, his head down. Her heart raced—what would he say? What had happened?
“Hey,” she said softly, taking a seat beside him.
“Hey,” he replied, avoiding her gaze. “About last night…”
Y/N’s stomach twisted. “I don’t remember much. I just… I didn’t want things to happen like that.”
Taehyung finally looked at her, his expression serious. “Neither did I. But it happened. Because i couldn’t controlled myself”
“What does that mean for us?” she asked, her voice trembling.
He sighed, running a hand through his hair. “Look, I’m not the type to settle down. I’m a playboy, and you’re… you’re different. I don’t want to hurt you.”
Y/N felt a mix of relief and disappointment. “So, that’s it? We just forget it happened?”
“Maybe it’s for the best,” he said, his voice low.
Tears stung Y/N’s eyes. “You don’t understand. I was falling for you, Taehyung. I thought maybe…”
Taehyung’s expression softened, but he shook his head. “You deserve someone who can give you everything. I can’t.”
Y/N felt a heaviness in her heart. “So, this is goodbye?”
“I don’t want it to be,” he admitted, his voice barely above a whisper. “But I can’t promise you anything.”
As they sat in silence, Y/N knew their paths were diverging. She had opened her heart to him, only to find it shattered. Yet, in that moment, she also sensed a flicker of something deeper between them.
Days turned into weeks, and while Y/N tried to move on, she couldn’t shake the feeling of regret. Taehyung was always in her thoughts. Whenever she saw him around school, her heart ached, and she wondered what could have been.
Meanwhile, Minyun and Jin began to grow closer, their playful banter turning into something more. They shared stolen glances and inside jokes, and it was heartwarming to see her friend find happiness amidst the chaos.
One day, while Y/N was sitting alone in the school courtyard, Taehyung approached her. “Can we talk?”
Her heart raced. “About what?”
“About us,” he said, looking earnest. “I’ve been thinking a lot. I didn’t mean to push you away. I just… I don’t want to hurt you.”
Y/N’s breath caught in her throat. “Taehyung, I—”
“I know I have a reputation, but I want to try. I want to be better for you,” he interrupted, his gaze intense.
Y/N felt a rush of hope. “You mean it?”
“Yeah. I want to see where this goes,” he said, his voice steady. “I know it’ll be hard, but I want to try.”
With trembling hands, Y/N nodded. “Okay. Let’s take it slow.”
From that day on, they began to rebuild their connection, not through kisses or hugs, but through late-night talks, shared dreams, and moments of vulnerability. They discovered each other beyond the surface, and in those quiet moments, their bond deepened.
As time passed, their families noticed the change in Taehyung. His parents saw him growing more responsible, while Y/N’s parents admired how he treated her. They began to accept their relationship, seeing how happy they made each other.
Eventually, after months of growth and understanding, Taehyung surprised Y/N with a visit to a beautiful garden. He knelt down, holding a simple ring in his hand. “Y/N, I know we’ve had our ups and downs, but I want to spend my life with you. Will you marry me?”
Tears streamed down her face as she nodded, overwhelmed with joy. “Yes!!”
As soon as he hears the ‘yes’ from Y/N lips, Taehyung’s face lights up with the brightest smile he’s ever worn. He slips the ring onto her finger and pulls her into his arms, holding her tightly as he whispers,
“You just made me the happiest man alive, Y/N. I promise to spend every day showing you how much you’re loved…” He traces her jawline gently with his fingertips, looking deeply into her eyes before leaning in for a tender, meaningful kiss under the beautiful garden’s canopy.
Their families celebrated the news, and amidst laughter and tears, Y/N and Taehyung realized that love could flourish even in the unlikeliest of circumstances. Their journey wasn’t perfect, but it was theirs, and they were ready to face the world together.
